Student Remediation and Retention using PACKRAT® as a Self-Assessment Tool

This webinar will discuss the purpose of the PAEA PACKRAT exam and how it can assist in the assessment of both individual student as well as program performance. Early identification of students at risk of struggling on self assessments, such as the PACKRAT, provides the best opportunity for developing effective remediation strategies. The webinar will also discuss ways to perform data analysis of the PACKRAT to help predict performance on future assessments.

At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to: 

• Review the intended purpose of the PACKRAT exam
• Describe how PACKRAT performance can help identify at-risk students
• Suggest remediation strategies for students with low scores on the PACKRAT
• Use Microsoft Excel or statistical software to perform data analysis on a program’s PACKRAT data
