The Digital Learning Hub was developed around the needs of PA faculty across roles, areas of interests, required competencies, and career milestones. 

Our Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) are your home for collaborating with colleagues across the country, allowing you to have conversations that matter in an easy and convenient format. Within the PLCs, you can ask questions, upload documents, share tools and resources, and archive important discussions. 

Workshops are offered several times per year for faculty, clinical coordinators, and program directors. These offerings are designed to provide attendees with the essential skills and tools needed to excel, with topics such as admissions, diversity and inclusion, assessment, leadership, and conflict management. 

The Education Forum is the largest gathering of PA faculty and staff from programs across the country. Held each fall, the event is designed to serve PA educators in every discipline of the profession. The Forum offers educational sessions, inspiring keynote presentations, and the opportunity for attendees to connect with colleagues from coast to coast. 

A one-month virtual workshop that provides the foundational skills new clinical coordinators will need to succeed in their role. Led by facilitators who are clinical coordinators themselves, the sessions will cover the essential topics for increasing your skillset.

This three-day in-person workshop, led by expert facilitators who are experienced clinical coordinators themselves, is designed to offer practical advice to help attendees become acclimated to their new role and begin to develop a personalized toolbox of resources and strategies. 

PAEA’s Clinical Education Committee developed a Clinical Educator Handbook to illustrate a variety of responsibilities and approaches to the administration, assessment, and monitoring of clinical education.

PA education programs are experiencing increasing difficulty in securing access to clinical training sites for students. PAEA believes that the creation of new incentives will be crucial in alleviating this shortage.

This workshop, delivered in a series of four weekly virtual sessions, is designed to help new faculty learn the essentials of their specific role in just one month, covering the most crucial topics for new PA educators as they take on the role of faculty member.

In this three-day in-person workshop, you will learn the basic techniques and tools required for effective teaching, while receiving timely, actionable guidance from experienced educators with a passion for helping new faculty excel. 

Whether you are a seasoned PA faculty member or new to PA education, by attending the Leadership Lab, you will find a practical, evidence-based leadership framework and new ideas, as well as expand your connections and have something to bring back to your program.
