Benefits of a Virtual Forum
Each spring, we are greeted with growing anticipation for the annual PAEA Education Forum. Forum 2021 is approaching quickly, and this year, we will once again gather virtually. While we look forward to reuniting in person when it is safe to do so, we believe that the virtual format not only provides the means to join together, but also offers valuable additional benefits for all attendees.
Optimizing Networking | PAEA’s comprehensive event platform goes beyond connecting members through networking sessions, to providing tools for long-term relationship building.
- The Forum’s virtual platform offers innovative collaboration tools, empowering members to connect between sessions to ask questions, share contact information, or set up future conversations.
- After the Forum, attendees can continue to utilize the virtual platform as a resource for connection and collaboration for a period of time (more information to come).
Increasing Access | Given the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and driven by our values of equity and inclusion, we developed financial models to try to make it possible for all members to attend the Forum.
In 2020, the first virtual Education Forum was our largest event ever, bringing together 1,500+ PA educators together from across the country. Allowing members to attend the Forum virtually expands access to professional development programming and networking to more PA educators, staff, and faculty.
Our “Bundle & Save” option allows programs to save money for every five registrants. The more registrants a program has, the more savings they receive.
- Individual Member & Non-Member: $290
- Bundle & Save 5+ Attendees: $265 each ($25 savings per attendee)
- Bundle & Save 10+ Attendees: $250 each ($40 savings per attendee)
- Bundle & Save 15+ Attendees: $230 each ($60 savings per attendee)
Adding Value | The virtual format allows us to offer more learning opportunities to a broader group of PA educators than ever before.
- After the event, recordings of Forum 2021 sessions will remain available for a period of time on the virtual platform, allowing attendees to catch up on sessions they might have missed the week of the event.
- PAEA’s Solution Circles offer a space for attendees to learn from industry experts in a collaborative format, examining current challenges in the field of PA education.
